El ministro de Inclusión Económica y Social, Iván Granda Molina, recorrió distintos puntos de pago del bono de Protección
Familiar de los cantones de Saraguro y Catamayo, en la provincia de Loja, en donde verificó que las personas que cobran este
bono cumplan con las medidas de prevención dispuestas por el Gobierno Nacional para evitar contagio de COVID 19. Además,
entregó 500 kits de alimentos a familias vulnerables de los barrios Oñacápac y Buenavista, como parte de la campaña “Dar una
mano, sin dar la mano”.
El Ministro recalcó el trabajo que viene realizando el Gobierno Nacional para proteger a las familias que más lo necesitan. Dijo
que en este proceso era sumamente importante la corresponsabilidad ciudadana para evitar aglomeraciones y contagios. “A
nivel nacional se ha autorizado 10.200 puntos de pago, entre ellos corresponsables no bancarios como tiendas del barrio,
farmacias o ferreterías, para el pago de bonos y pensiones, con el objetivo de evitar aglomeraciones en entidades financieras”,
dijo.
En Saraguro visitó el punto de pago de un corresponsal no bancario ubicado en el comercial y ferretería “Patino”. Ahí pudo
constatar que la ciudadanía reciba todas las facilidades y sobre todo se garantice el cumplimiento de las medidas sanitarias y
distanciamiento social entre usuarios durante el cobro del bono de Protección Familiar de $ 60 por la emergencia; así como los
otros bonos y pensiones que entrega el MIES.
En este punto de pago, María González, una adulta mayor del sector, cobró su pensión de $ 100 de Mis Mejores Años, destinado
para las personas adultas mayores en situación de pobreza extrema. María dijo que este apoyo económico le sirve para cubrir
sus gastos médicos debido a su delicado estado de salud.
En Saraguro, el ministro Iván Granda entregó 250 kits de alimentos a familias del barrio Oñacápac. Después, visitó el barrio
Buenavista, en Catamayo, en donde entregó otros 250 kits. Moradores de estos sectores agradecieron el apoyo gubernamental
como Karina Grijalva, quien señaló que gracias a los kits hay muchas familias que podrán alimentarse durante esta emergencia.
Hasta la fecha en Loja, más de 9 mil personas han cobrado el Bono de Protección Familiar en los puntos habilitados; mientras
que alrededor de 4 mil kits de alimentos se han entregado a familias vulnerables que viven en zonas periféricas y urbano –
marginales de esta provincia. De la misma manera, gracias al aporte y compromiso de 22 gobiernos autónomos descentralizados
de Loja se ha podido fortalecer y ampliar la cobertura para llegar con kits de alimentación a más de 23 mil familias
